What is R Cinemas?
R Cinemas is a comprehensive entertainment platform offering virtual cinema streaming, live events, film festivals, and franchise opportunities. We connect audiences with movies, events, and experiences globally while providing opportunities for partners, filmmakers, and entrepreneurs.
How do I create an account?
Click "Sign Up" in the top navigation, fill in your details (name, email, password), and verify your email address. Your account gives you access to ticket purchases, event bookings, and partner dashboards.
Is R Cinemas available in my country?
Our virtual cinema and events are available globally in 100+ countries. Physical cinema locations are currently expanding. Check our locations page or contact us to inquire about availability in your area.
How do I contact customer support?
Visit our Contact Us page to submit a support ticket. You'll receive a ticket number and our team will respond within 24-48 hours. For urgent issues, check your account dashboard for live chat options.
🎬 Cinema & Movie Tickets
How do I book movie tickets?
1. Browse movies on the Cinema page
2. Select your preferred showtime
3. Choose your seats
4. Add food/beverages (optional)
5. Complete payment
6. Receive confirmation email with QR code
Can I cancel or refund my movie ticket?
Tickets can be cancelled up to 2 hours before showtime for a full refund as account credits. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before showtime are non-refundable. Account credits can be used for any future cinema bookings. To cancel, go to My Account > My Tickets and select the ticket to cancel.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local payment methods depending on your region.
How do I use my ticket at the cinema?
Show your QR code (from email or My Account) at the cinema entrance. Staff will scan it to verify your booking. You can display it on your phone or print it out.
Can I order food with my ticket?
Yes! During booking, you can add food and beverages from our partner restaurants. Your order will be prepared and delivered to your seat or available for pickup at the cinema.
What is virtual cinema?
Virtual cinema allows you to stream movies at scheduled times from home, just like a theater experience. Purchase a ticket, join at showtime, and watch with a global audience. Some films offer on-demand viewing after their premiere.
🎪 Events & Live Streaming
What types of events do you host?
We host concerts, sports events, webinars, theater performances, comedy shows, conferences, and special screenings. Events can be live-streamed, in-person, or hybrid.
How do I book event tickets?
Browse events on the Events page, select your event, choose ticket type (if applicable), and complete checkout. You'll receive a confirmation email with access details or QR code for in-person events.
Can I watch events after they've ended?
Some events offer replay access for 24-48 hours after the live stream. Check the event details page for replay availability. Your ticket will include replay access if available.
How do I host my own event?
Visit our Event Organizer page to learn about hosting. Register, submit your event details, get approved, and we'll handle the streaming and ticketing. You keep 70% of revenue.
What equipment do I need to stream an event?
For basic events: a good camera (smartphone or DSLR), stable internet (10+ Mbps upload), and audio equipment. We provide streaming software and technical support. For professional events, we can arrange full production services.
🎞️ Film Festival
What is the Sydney Virtual Film Festival?
Our quarterly film festival showcasing independent films from around the world. Audiences vote for winners, with $5,000 grand prize and $9,000 in viewer prizes. Winners get guaranteed distribution on our platform.
How do I submit my film?
Visit our Film Producer page or submit through FilmFreeway. Create an account, upload your film with required materials (synopsis, poster, trailer), pay submission fee, and await review.
What are the submission requirements?
Films must be completed within the last 2 years, any genre/length accepted, high-quality video (1080p minimum), English subtitles for non-English films, and proper rights clearance. Submission fee applies.
How does voting work?
Festival ticket holders can vote for their favorite films. Each ticket includes voting rights. Winners are determined by audience votes (70%) and jury selection (30%). Voting opens during the festival and closes 24 hours after the final screening.
What do winners receive?
Grand Prize: $5,000 + guaranteed 6-month distribution. Category Winners: $1,000 each + 3-month featured placement. All winners receive laurels, press coverage, and priority consideration for future festivals.
Can I distribute my film outside the festival?
Yes! Visit our Film Distribution page to submit your film for regular distribution. You keep 70% of revenue from ticket sales and streaming.
🏢 Franchise Opportunities
How much does a franchise cost?
Initial franchise fee: $50,000-$150,000 depending on location and size. Total investment including build-out: $300,000-$800,000. This includes equipment, training, and 12 months of support.
What support do franchisees receive?
Complete training program, site selection assistance, architectural plans, equipment procurement, marketing materials, ongoing technical support, content library access, and dedicated franchise manager.
What are the ongoing fees?
5% royalty on gross revenue + 2% marketing fund contribution. Content licensing is included. No hidden fees.
How long does it take to open?
From application approval to opening: 6-12 months. This includes site selection (1-2 months), construction (3-6 months), training (1 month), and pre-opening marketing (1 month).
Do I need cinema experience?
No prior cinema experience required. We provide comprehensive training covering operations, customer service, technical systems, marketing, and business management. Business experience is beneficial.
Can I own multiple franchises?
Yes! Successful franchisees can apply for additional territories. Multi-unit owners receive reduced royalty rates and additional support benefits.
🍽️ Restaurant Partners
How do I become a restaurant partner?
Register on our platform, complete your restaurant profile, upload your menu with photos and prices, set delivery zones, and submit for approval. Approval typically takes 24-48 hours.
What commission do you charge?
15% commission on food orders. No monthly fees, no setup costs. You only pay when you make sales. Delivery fees are separate and go to delivery partners.
How do I receive orders?
Orders appear in your partner dashboard and you'll receive notifications via email/SMS. Accept the order, prepare the food, and mark it ready for pickup. Our delivery partners handle the rest.
When do I get paid?
Weekly payouts every Monday for the previous week's orders (after commission). Payments go directly to your registered bank account via Stripe.
Can I update my menu?
Yes! Update your menu anytime through your partner dashboard. Add/remove items, change prices, mark items as unavailable, and update photos. Changes are live immediately.
What if I can't fulfill an order?
Contact support immediately or reject the order in your dashboard with a reason. Customers will be refunded automatically. Frequent cancellations may affect your partner status.
🚗 Delivery Partners
How do I become a delivery driver?
Register, complete the application with your vehicle details and documents, pass a background check, attend orientation (online), and start accepting deliveries. Process takes 3-5 business days.
What are the requirements?
18+ years old, valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, reliable vehicle (car, motorcycle, or bicycle), smartphone with GPS, clean driving record, and pass background check.
How much can I earn?
Base pay per delivery + distance bonuses + 100% of tips. Average $15-$25/hour depending on location and time. Peak hours (lunch/dinner/events) offer higher rates. Weekly payouts.
Can I choose my own hours?
Yes! Work whenever you want. Log in to the driver app, go online, and start accepting deliveries. No minimum hours required. Work full-time, part-time, or just during events.
How do I get paid?
Weekly direct deposits every Monday for previous week's deliveries. Track earnings in real-time through the driver app. Tips are included in your payout.
What if there's an issue with a delivery?
Contact support through the driver app immediately. For missing items, contact the restaurant. For customer issues, document with photos and report. Support is available 24/7.
⚙️ Technical Support
What browsers are supported?
Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge (latest versions). For best streaming experience, use Chrome or Firefox. Mobile apps available for iOS and Android.
What internet speed do I need?
Minimum 5 Mbps for SD, 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K streaming. For live events, we recommend 15+ Mbps for smooth playback.
Why is my video buffering?
Check your internet speed, close other streaming apps, try lowering video quality in player settings, restart your router, or switch to a wired connection if possible.
Can I watch on multiple devices?
One ticket = one simultaneous stream. You can switch between devices, but can't watch on multiple devices at the same time. Family plans available for multiple streams.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page, enter your email, and follow the reset link sent to your inbox. Link expires in 1 hour. Contact support if you don't receive the email.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes! We use Stripe for payment processing with bank-level encryption. We never store your full credit card details. All transactions are PCI-DSS compliant.
